Bio
Will Affel came to New York from Philadelphia to attend NYU Tandon in pursuit of his degree in physics. Having a deep passion for education and being a tutor throughout college, Will immediately entered the field after graduation as a tutor. Will joined The Beekman School as a math tutor and chemistry teacher in 2024.
Having taken graduate courses in quantum mechanics and thermochemistry, Will is capable of communicating abstract chemistry topics and complex scientific methods saliently. At The Beekman School, his goal is to continue enriching young minds and promoting enthusiasm of scientific discovery in his students.
